We made it. It turns out that some of the groups that I did not hear from actually did a good percentage of the work, so I apologized for hounding people. I felt like I did that a lot throughout the project.
I am very proud of the group and thankful. It was really nice to see the professors response in class and now that we made it. So there is a lot of thanks to go around to everyone, involved. I am guessing that this is somewhat what leading a real project feels like. Even knowing the subject matter fairly well, it took a lot of work to see what everyone was doing and how all of the pieces fit together. It was also very difficult keeping the group together as there we a few debates, which were good, but got fairly heated. In the real world, those are your team mates and there are more projects after this one. You wonder how they do it in real life.
Working though incrementally worked, and it is something that I learned. I feel I learned a lot about leading a team, and I hope I was at least somewhat on top of it.
In theory, we will finish on Tuesday, if not sooner, but now I am fairly confident that it will get done.... and now I have to work on that database....
